October Newsletter
Highlights from September
It’s been over a month since we started our 2024-25 academic session and the children seem to adjust to the new routine with ease. Emphasis on the ground rules helped children with this smooth transition.
Thanks to all the parents who came to the “Parent Orientation Night”, we hope it was helpful. Our goal was to take this opportunity to welcome you to your child’s class and walk you through their typical day.
Fire Fighter Visit was another highlight of the month. Our guest firefighters shared valuable information on how to stay safe in case of a fire, demonstrated their gear, and even let the kids explore the fire truck. The children were eager to participate, ask questions, and learn more about the important work firefighters do. The children made beautiful cards to thank the Firefighters.
October
The month of October is filled with interesting themes and topics that will feed curious minds. We will be learning about change in season, Fall, and how & why leaves change color. Learning about hibernation always excites children. We have scheduled our yearly visit to Pumpkin Patch and we can’t wait to make wonderful memories once again.
We are excited to introduce our new Spanish program from October. The classes will take place every Tuesday and Thursday morning and evening. It is a great addition to our existing curriculum.
October also brings children their most favorite celebration, Halloween. We will be doing our yearly Halloween Parade at school and parents are welcome to come and give goodies (NO CANDY, instead small erasers, pencils etcare encouraged). Please send your child’s costume in a labeled bag and our staff and volunteers will assist them.
